Good RV parks don't need to be fancy. They need to be well located, well maintained, comfortable, dependable and easy to deal with. That's the idea behind Kivo.
There are a lot of good RV parks hiding inside tired RV parks.
Across America, there are thousands of RV parks in useful locations that were built years ago and still serve an important purpose. Some need new infrastructure. Some need better roads. Some need modern booking systems, stronger Wi-Fi, cleaner grounds or simply somebody willing to reinvest in them.
We saw opportunity in that. Kivo was created to acquire, improve and operate RV parks for the way people actually use them today. That doesn't mean turning every property into an expensive resort. It means making the park work better.
RV travel has changed. Today's RV guest might be retired and crossing the country. They might be a family taking the kids somewhere for the weekend. They might be a lineman, welder, pipefitter, superintendent, nurse or project manager working a six-month assignment. They may stay for twelve hours or twelve months. Kivo parks are being built to serve all of them.

Get the basics right first.
Utilities, roads, sites, cleanliness, safety and maintenance aren't glamorous. They're also the difference between a good RV park and a bad one.
Make long stays livable.
A guest spending three months with us notices things a weekend guest never will. We design and operate with both in mind.
Keep improving.
A Kivo park should look and operate better next year than it does today.
Don't erase the place.
Kivo is the common standard, not a cookie cutter. Texas should still feel like Texas.
Be easy to deal with.
Clear information. Fair rules. Straight answers. Somebody who answers the phone.
It shouldn't be revolutionary.
Unfortunately, sometimes it is.
